Goodnews As Federal Government Announces Resumption Date For All Unity Schools

The Federal Government has just announced the resumption date for all unity schools across the country. You would recall that schools were abruptly closed in March due to the outbreak of the corona virus.

Recall that some state schools resumed on the 21st of September, 2020. As at that time there was no fixed date for Unity schools.

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, made the public announcement in a letter he signed on Wednesday. All Unity schools are to resume October 11th, 2020. This approval applies to both students in the Junior and Senior Secondary schools.

The minister has stated that schools that have not concluded their 2nd term examination should round off duly and start off third term immediately that is expected to end in December. Also stating that all the Covid19 protocols should be strictly maintained in the schools.

This is indeed good news to all unity school students. They can now go back and finish up their respective classes in preparation for the new session. They have stayed too long at home.
